Greetings from Ski to Sea Race!

In response to your prior interest about using a webcam to film your team’s participation in this year’s race, here are some simple guidelines to follow.

• We ask that your final video not be longer than 5 minutes.  We will post these videos on the Ski to Sea website and the Ski to Sea Channel on YouTube
• Teams can use the just completed "Ski to Sea” song as background music in their video but are not required (but it really is so cool that we think you will!) Click here for link to song>>>
  
• Be sure to enter it in our YouTube video contests, and be sure to keep it fun and tasteful.  Here is the URL: http://www.skitosea.com/content/race_guide/entry_form.asp    
• Please enter your video in one of the following categories:
• Capturing the "Spirit” of the Ski to Sea Race
• Funniest overall video
• Best "Biography” of an individual or team
• Best "Story”
• Judges Favorite
• I will provide the Ski to Sea Race with the raw footage from my web cams so that Whatcom Events can use my film footage to market the Ski to Sea Race in future years.

I hereby irrevocably consent to and authorize the use and reproduction by Whatcom Events or anyone authorized by Whatcom Events, of any and all recorded material, including video, original music compositions and all other audio such as: musical performances, narration or interview responses, for any purpose whatsoever without compensation to me.

All material, video and audio, recorded on behalf of the Ski to Sea Race in May of 2011, and all reproductions thereof shall constitute your property, solely and completely.

It is further understood that this consent agreement with Whatcom Events for the above described audio and video recorded and/or reproduced materials shall be valid through forever.
