What makes you come back year after year to volunteer for the Ski to Sea?:
First, I enjoy doing it, I feel its payback for all the volunteers that put in their time over the years when I was competing. Second, its the people, many of the same faces each year, but lots of new people each year as well.
Present Occupation:
Semi-retired/volunteer, spending a lot of my time at the Sardis Raptor Center in Ferndale.
Length of Employment:
21 years in the software/IT field, retired almost 4 now.
Education: BS Computer Science, Northern Arizona Univ.
Favorite Sport: Baseball

I don't know who originally stated this, but I think I heard it over 1000 times from a high school history teacher:

Favorite Animal: Weimaraner
Last Book Read: "A Season in Hell" by Jack Higgins, its an older spy novel.
Long Team Dreams/Goals: Visit all the national parks before I die.
How long have you been involved in the Ski to Sea?: 4 years.
Do you plan to be in the Ski to Sea race again?:
I think my racing days are behind me, but you never know.
What do you like about the Ski to Sea?:
The fact that its teams oriented and multiple events.
What would you tell others about the Ski to Sea?:
If you can't compete or volunteer, try cheering the athletes on.
What do you like about the Bellingham/Mt Baker region?:
Tolerable weather and year round outdoor activities.
