Team: Mount Baker Club
A group of club members thought it would be a hoot to enter a team in the Big Race. This was the 2000 Ski to Sea. One member of that year's team, Kit Vonnegut, made a commitment to field a team each year until the Club's centennial in the year 2011.
If you didn't know, the Mount Baker Club was formed in 1911 to help stage the Mount Baker Marathon that same year.
What has kept you together as a team for so long now?:
Beer and potlucks, mostly.

Do it, if only to be able to say you've done it.
What do you like about the Bellingham/Mt Baker region?:
what's not to like? Relatively low population, fabulous scenery and outdoor activities, interesting communities
