You won't want to miss Whatcom County's own Muds to Suds Mud Race taking place at Hovander Park in Ferndale on August 24 and 25, 2013.
This "mud race" will feature:
-22 dirty obstacles that combine athletic stamina and your child hood fantasy of playing in the mud. You will need endurance to complete the 3 mile course, humility to wallow in the mud and a smile to show off at the finish line!
-Dressing up is encouraged and prizes will be given for the most creative ideas. Also, bring your camera, the obstacles are all spectator friendly, and your family’s muddy grins might make the perfect Christmas card!
-Worried about getting muddy? There will be a fire truck to hose off finishers, as well as a bonfire to warm everyone up. The finish line will also feature music, a beer garden and several local food vendors.
-Families are encouraged to participate. We will offer several different divisions to allow parents to cheer on their children and spouses to cheer on their better half.
