Junior Ski to Sea Regatta
Attention All Racing Sailors: The Bellingham Yacht Club (BYC) invites you to participate in the 2010 Junior Ski-To-Sea Regatta. The regatta is located on Bellingham Bay, and is open to sailors of all ages with special divisions for youth under the age of 18. Racing is limited to dinghy sailboats under 19 feet in length. Class divisions will include Laser, Laser Radial, Open Bic, and International Optimist sailboats. Saturday morning Skippers meeting, and Sunday afternoon awards ceremony will be held at the Bellingham Yacht Club. Harvey Haggard Hoedown
This year the event is being held on the Green at Grahams in Glacier. We are asking vendors to come and set up booths for free and peddle their creations during our event. Our event will be starting at Noon, Dinner at 5PM, Music to start at 5:30 or 6PM. The raffle and trips will all occur on the same day May 29th. So come early and spend an eventful day celebrating the legendary Harvey Haggard "Crowned King of Glacier in 1911". James Higgins & the muddy boots band will be performing. We will have music & dancing, a bonfire with marshmallows, and serve a meal of Hemplers hot dogs (no nitrates, yay!) chips & soda for $5.42. | May 29-Saturday The Pasta Feed in Bellingham at Boundary Bay Brewery 4pm - 8 pm Cost is $15 adults / $10 children under 10; free for 5 and under. This is an outdoor event. It will be in the beer garden and will spill into the alley for extra seating. Tickets will be available at Boundary Bay. Race teams should buy their tickets early as this will sell out.
