Plan to attend the New Awards Celebration which is an event in itself! Beginning at 6:00pm, the Celebration will be a “High-Energy, Multi-Media, Show Biz” experience that attendees will never forget! Music will fill Marine Park as winning teams and racers are called ON-STAGE to receive their awards!

Enjoy the bands as you wander through vendor booths featuring food, drink and more! Visit the Race Results booth to follow along with constantly-revised leg results. Want a T-shirt? Ski to Sea 2008 T-Shirts and official Race Posters will be for sale.

The top three teams in each category will receive plaques and medals, and exclusive Top Gun awards will be presented to the fastest man and woman in each leg.

Also, help celebrate our rich talent from right here in Whatcom County as the EXCITING NEW Whatcom County Cups are awarded to the winning men’s, women’s and mixed Whatcom County Teams.

| Whatcom County Awards
This perpetual trophy will be awarded to the overall winners in the Whatcom County Divisions for Open, Women’s and Mixed teams. The trophy will have the winning team's names on the trophy for the winning year. It will be housed at the winning sponsor’s place of business or at the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry for viewing.

Individual Leg Winners “Top Guns”
Awards presented to the fastest male and female for each leg of the race. All this AND spectators have a chance to get some race goodies of their own as prizes are thrown into the crowd!
