Film on 1911 Mt. Baker Marathon Needs Extras

|
Todd Warger from the Whatcom Museum is making a film about the 1911 Mt. Baker Marathon and is asking for individuals who would like to be in the film to contact him.
Today's Ski to Sea Race can trace its origins to the 1911 Mt. Baker Marathon. |
They will be filming the beginning and end of the automobile portions of the race on Sunday August 9, on 11th Street between Harris and Mill in Fairhaven. It is the closest location that looks original. Call is at 6am with filming at 7am and should be out at 11am-noon at the latest. We may need extras in crowd scenes. It would be best if people have period clothing to wear, although we are gathering costumes.
I also need a pool of runners. We will be filming at various times throughout the summer and fall. These shoots could be in town, foothills, or at Skyline Divide or Heliotrope if it opens. Shoots on Coleman Glacier or/and the snow if possible. As a lot of running shots need to happen over a course of several months, people’s times can't always lineup, therefore I need a pool of runners to call upon when we shoot. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, if any person knows of any known descendents of the race, please pass on their names as I would like to get in touch with them.
